Birth-work v.s Passion

About 4 years ago I stumbled upon birth-work and I have been engulfed in it every since then. It has become a deep passion of mine and I can’t see myself doing anything else. When I’m not researching information for a family I’m reading about birth and everything that is involved in it. Some people question will I burn out, but not only do I spend massive amounts of time supporting laboring women and their families; I also spend time with myself through meditation and self-care. My heart smiles just thinking about the fact that I get to work in something I’m so passionate about. I feel really bad for people that work just to work, I’m so lucky the universe spoke to me and I listened:-)
